  • What is a mobile notary?
A mobile notary is a licensed notary public who travels to your location to provide notary services. Instead of you visiting an office, I bring the notary services directly to your home, office, or other convenient locations, offering flexibility and convenience.
  • What types of documents do you notarize?
I notarize a wide range of documents, including real estate and loan documents, power of attorney, wills, affidavits, healthcare documents, title transfers, travel consent forms, and more. For more information on specificity of documents, please call me at (360) 322-4684.
  • How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by contacting me through phone (360) 322-4684, email at Melissa@NotaryinSnoho.com, or our online contact form. I will confirm the time, date, and location that works best for you.
  • What do I need to bring to my notary appointment?
Please bring the document(s) that need to be notarized and a valid, government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license, passport, or state ID). It’s important that all signers be present during the appointment.
  • How long does a notary appointment take?
The length of time depends on the type and number of documents being notarized, but most appointments take around 15-30 minutes. I strive to make the process as quick and efficient as possible while ensuring accuracy.
  • Are there any restrictions on what can be notarized?
Yes, certain documents such as vital records (e.g., birth certificates, death certificates) cannot be notarized. Additionally, I cannot notarize documents where the signer is not physically present or does not have proper identification. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out, and I can help determine if your document qualifies for notarization. Remember, having a document notarized doesn’t make it legal. Only a judge or attorney can determine the legality of a document.
  • How much do mobile notary services cost?
Fees for mobile notary services vary based on the type of document and the travel distance. Please visit the services section of our website or contact me directly for a quote tailored to your needs.
  • What is a notary signing agent, and do you offer loan signing services?
Yes, I am a certified and background-screened notary signing agent. A notary signing agent is a notary with specialized training to handle loan documents. I provide notary services for real estate closings, mortgage signings, and other loan-related documents.
  • Are your services available after hours or on weekends?
Yes! I offer flexible appointment times, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate your busy schedule. Simply contact me to arrange a time that works for you.
  • Do you provide remote online notarization (RON)?
Yes, I am authorized to provide remote online notarization (RON) services. This allows you to have your documents notarized online via a secure video platform, making the process even more convenient, especially for those unable to meet in person.
  • Are your services available for seniors or those with mobility challenges?
Absolutely. My mobile notary service is designed to meet the needs of seniors, individuals with mobility issues, or anyone who finds it difficult to travel. I’ll come to your home or healthcare facility to ensure your documents are properly notarized.
  • Why should I choose a notary who is a member of the National Notary Association (NNA) and background-screened?
As a member of the NNA and a background-screened certified notary signing agent, I adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct. This ensures your documents are handled with the utmost care, precision, and security.
